About Me

Hey there, hi there, and howdy!

It’s lovely to meet you, and a little awkward to tell you about myself. But you’re here, so that must mean you’re interested to learn more.

My name is Hannah Dahdouh, and I’m an Licensed Professional Counselor here in the state of Texas. My professional journey has been a circuitous one with a career in higher education and non-profit work prior to earning my graduate degree and becoming a therapist.

It is in part due to my own unique journey that my favorite folks to work with are those who find themselves at a crossroads in their identity and how they best understand themselves. This can range from: exploring possible Neurodivergent diagnoses (late-diagnosed ADHD’er here), racial and cultural identity, relationship transitions, career shifts, spiritual exploration, sexuality, up to and including reckoning with past and ongoing traumas.

My approach to therapy is an eclectic one that incorporates the stances of Relational Cultural theory as well as inclusion of mind-body work, expressive arts, humor, and other experiential practices. I believe that our wellness is not based in how well we can stand on our own, but by the quality of our relationships with ourselves and others.
